<p class="Paragraph"><help:help-text value="visible" xmlns:help="http://openoffice.org/2000/help">The shortcut keys available are shown on the left in this list box.</help:help-text> The corresponding functions are displayed in brackets on the right.</p>
<p class="Paragraph">Use this area to edit the shortcut keys for the active context. That means you have to open a text document in order to edit shortcut keys used in text documents. Only after doing this can you call the <span class="T1">Configuration</span> dialog. The same procedure applies for editing toolbars and their menus.</p>

<p class="Paragraph">Use the <span class="T1">Domain</span> and <span class="T1">Function</span> list boxes to select a function to apply to a key or key combination.</p>
<p class="Paragraph"><help:help-text value="visible" xmlns:help="http://openoffice.org/2000/help">This list box displays all the available function areas, including self-programmed Basic libraries.</help:help-text></p>
<p class="Paragraph"><help:help-text value="visible" xmlns:help="http://openoffice.org/2000/help">This list box lists the respective functions of the selected category.</help:help-text></p>
<p class="Paragraph"><help:help-text value="visible" xmlns:help="http://openoffice.org/2000/help">This field displays any shortcut keys already assigned to the function selected in the <span class="T1">Category</span> and <span class="T1">Function</span> list boxes.</help:help-text></p>
<p class="Paragraph"><help:help-text value="visible" xmlns:help="http://openoffice.org/2000/help">This button assigns a shortcut key (selected in the Keyboard list box) to a function selected in the Functions area. If the shortcut keys are already assigned to another function, the function will be overwritten without a warning message. The modifications are effected only after you confirm them with <span class="T1">OK </span>.</help:help-text></p>
<p class="Paragraph"><help:help-text value="visible" xmlns:help="http://openoffice.org/2000/help">Opens the <span class="T1">Load Keyboard Configuration</span> dialog, which enables you to open an existing keyboard configuration.</help:help-text> This dialog is similar to the <help:link Id="65703" xmlns:help="http://openoffice.org/2000/help">Open</help:link> dialog.</p>
<p class="Paragraph"><help:help-text value="visible" xmlns:help="http://openoffice.org/2000/help">Click this button to open the <span class="T1">Save Keyboard Configuration</span> dialog which enables you to save your personal configuration settings.</help:help-text></p>
